Inner
beauty. What is inner beauty? Is it that space between ugly and pretty? Is it
that misnomer which is often used as a second consideration? Is it something
which can be only imagined?
For us
to understand inner beauty, it is important that we break the imagery in two
and understand beauty first.
Beauty.
Look
at this insignificant word here. Let it fill your senses. Let it travel in your
nostrils and let it go all way to your lungs. Now ask yourself, what according
to you, is beauty?
For
me, beauty is like an altered consciousness between you and someone else. It is
a dynamic process which goes on everyday, a process somewhere between
poetry and grace.
The
human consciousness is so drawn into its physical attributes that it forget to
look into the spiritual one and that, eventually, rises in size and becomes
physical ego. This ego at its root is supposed to give us boundaries and a
sense of self, but when it becomes off-balance, it leads us to define ourselves
according to these various external qualities/circumstances like in the case
with beauty.
Beauty
is so much more than this smug perception that we have allowed to rust in our
mind.
Beauty
allows us to marvel ahead and to become mesmerized, which eventually gives us
the euphoric feeling of time being frozen.
Eckhart
Tolle said and I quote, “Beyond the beauty of external forms, there is more
here: something that cannot be named, something ineffable, some deep, inner,
holy essence. Whenever and wherever there is beauty, this inner essence shines
through somehow. It only reveals itself to you when you are present.”
Now
we'll discuss what is full of beauty or who is full of beauty?
According
to me, happiness is beauty. Pure happiness is something that is purer than any
power on Earth. We come to this big world without having a clue about it and
never thinking how beautiful it is.
Happiness.
Close
your eyes. Smile. Let it reach your eyes, your skin; let it sink. Don't aim for
big. Look for it in little, almost unnoticeable things; for they are the
biggest things in life.
In the eyes of your significant other, brimming with promises of love and warmth, when they say they love you. In the smile of any random kid you smiled at, refilling with a little more hope for the world. In life, when you observe leaves, as they change from green to yellow to red to brown; falling down but dramatically conquering the life they owned.

Isn't
that beautiful? Beauty is not just an adjective to be attached with an
attractive woman, nor can be called one of those 'poetic licence’ where a poet
can brag about everything being beautiful. Beauty is a truth; a truth without
which none can live.
Now
that we know what beauty is, it is easy for us to guess what inner beauty is.
Inner beauty is not just a close synonym is beauty, it is also an abbreviate.
Inner
beauty is thus a power. A power of truth and consciousness which comes from
within. And I feel, every person who is full of happiness and full of truth is
vibrant in inner beauty.
