The VIII edition of Star Wars has tackled all the previous questions head on and raised more than many. This is a mind bogging set-up for Episode IX and an apt tribute to Carrie Fisher.

This Rian Johnson's version of Star Wars. This is hands down the best Star Wars movie since the originals. This spectacle is achieved by the special effects team (61 members), the visual effects team (761 members) and the Animation Department consisting of 12 members whose creation and vision had made more than half of this film a possible reality.
The Last Jedi skillfully sparks a newness unlike any movie in the Star Wars series. For the first time since Return of the Jedi, Star Wars feels fresh again.
While this film is imperfect, it's incredibly strong. There are twists you won't see coming. There are moments when everything we thought we knew will be put to the test. There are moments when you'll have to sit all the way forward in your chair due to excitement. Challenging moments, humbling moments, sobering moments, human moments.

The only thing that is lost from the earlier Lucas versions is the grandiosity and the spectacle of the giant war machines, planets, etc.
It challenges previous notions of the previous Star Wars installments and asks uncomfortable questions of some of the most important characters in the series.
The VIII edition comprises of Leia using force and war becoming a business. But there came a time when Poe realized that straight combat is not an answer to all. Kylo is still a terrified boy Luke tried to kill. Rey has become powerful but comparatively lower than Supreme Leader Snoke. Supreme Leader Snoke achieved the heights of powers. The End of Jedi order as we knew, coz its explained by Master Yoda in rebels and clone wars and by Luke why Jedi order needed to be ended. Rey develops her newly discovered abilities with the guidance of Luke Skywalker, who is unsettled by the strength of her powers.
